Privacy
istimi collects nothing about you.
There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and nothing that tracks what you do in the app.
What stays on your phone
The name you give the app (if any), your settings, saved mixes, check-ins and the songs you keep are stored only on your phone. They are never uploaded. If your phone makes an iCloud or computer backup, they are included in that backup like any other app's files.
The one thing that leaves your phone
When you ask for a song, the app sends a short text describing the music to be made, for example “a slow, warm ambient melody, soft piano”. It contains nothing about you, not even your name. It goes to istimi's server, which passes it to the music service that makes the song (Google's Lyria model, through OpenRouter) and returns the audio.
To stop the service being misused, the server looks at the network address a request comes from to limit how many songs can be made in an hour. That count is kept in memory only and is not stored or linked to you. Our hosting provider keeps the standard short-lived request logs any website has.
If you never ask for a song, nothing leaves your phone at all. The app also makes songs on the phone itself, with no connection.
Your things
“Your things” lets you save everything you made to a file that you choose where to keep, read it back on another phone, or delete all of it in one step. The file is yours; istimi never sees it.
Children
istimi does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
